For 50 years, Bretford has built products to help teachers prepare the students of today for tomorrow’s world. Our focus as a company has been to develop products that support the modern learning environment. In so doing, we recognize that educators are challenged to do more with less. We also recognize that, as technology and teaching styles continue to evolve, a need exists for a learning environment in which there are no limitations caused by the furniture in the room.
EDU 2.0 is the first comprehensive powered and modular furniture system designed for the social aspects of learning in education. The EDU 2.0 system includes everything, from tables for interaction and mobile device carts, to presentation furniture and soft seating with power.

Learning Spaces as Social Places
Today more than ever, schools are challenged to provide learning spaces that meet the needs of the latest technologies. But technology changes rapidly while locations tend to remain fairly stable. Education is embracing technology as tools for teaching and learning. Space and the things that define it are also tools. When designed and used in support of learning, spaces, furniture, and furnishings can enhance the student experience and increase positive outcomes.

Learning Spaces – The Importance of Environment (October 18): Explores the impact of the environment on behavior and how space affects learning outcomes. Participants will learn to recognize how learning spaces can change to meet the needs of students and educators, today and tomorrow.
Designing Spaces to Enhance Learning (October 4 and November 17): Students spend approximately 32.5 hours per week at school–the equivalent of a full-time job. This webinar addresses principles and guidelines for designing highly supportive learning spaces.
Learning from Thought Leaders – Best Practices that Put Students First (November 9 and December 15): Provides examples of best practices and success stories from thought leaders and peers who are exploring the boundaries of learning and education, realizing success by putting students first, and creating new approaches to learning spaces. Following the webinar, participants can determine changes to try in their learning environment and identify resources for sharing and learning from peers and thought leaders.
Game Changers – Trends in Learning and Learning Spaces (December 7 and January 11): Change often seems the only constant in education today. When looking at the present and anticipating the future, it’s important to understand the difference between what’s trendy and what’s a trend. This webinar examines the trends in tools, technologies, and techniques that promise to change how we teach and learn. Participants will gain an understanding about the difference between what’s trendy and what’s an actual trend, identify where to go to stay abreast of trends, and provide at least three trends that will affect them.
