FREMONT, CA — (February 19, 2002) — SYNNEX Information Technologies, Inc., a global leader in IT design-to-distribution services, has been named Americas Distributor of the Year by International Business Machines (IBM) at this week's IBM PartnerWorld 2002 Conference being held in San Francisco, CA. Peter Larocque, Executive Vice President of Distribution at SYNNEX, accepted the award for the company. Bob Moffat, Senior Vice President and Group Executive, Personal Systems and Integrated Supply Chain, presented the award to Mr. Larocque.

Selection criteria for this prestigious award are based on: revenue; growth; market share; partner satisfaction; achievements to market and promote; and commitment, competency and application skills in selling IBM's PCD products. Distributors in the running included competing distribution companies headquartered in the United States, Canada and Latin America. SYNNEX experienced increased revenues in 2001 over the previous year and stellar growth performance in IBM notebooks, PC servers, and all other related products. IBM acknowledged SYNNEX for these efforts as well as the commitment to partnering with IBM.
