FREMONT, CA — May 7, 2002 — SYNNEX Information Technologies, Inc., an information technology (IT) supply chain services company headquartered in Fremont, CA, through its Mexican subsidiary, SYNNEX de Mexico S.A. de C.V., announced expansion plans of its IT distribution business with the addition of sales and distribution locations in Mexico. In an agreement with Novitech, S.A. de C.V., headquartered in Mexico City, Mexico, SYNNEX acquired certain assets of existing sales and distribution operations of facilities in the headquartered location of Mexico City, as well as branch locations in Guadalajara, Puebla, Veracruz, Queretaro, and Monterrey. SYNNEX de Mexico began distribution operations May 1st.

SYNNEX de Mexico sells top IT products manufactured by world-renowned, industry leading suppliers based on the strong, long-term distribution relationships SYNNEX has established in the U.S. market. SYNNEX U.S. distributes a broad line of computer products, peripherals and software. Sales efforts are focused on servicing resellers throughout Mexico.
