SYNNEX Information Technologies, Inc. to Offer Microsoft Open License Value Payment Plan to Small and Medium-Sized Market

 

New Payment Option Delivers Increased Business Value
And Flexibility to Software Advisors and Small and Medium-Sized Business Customers

Fremont, CA — March 26, 2003 — SYNNEX Information Technologies, Inc. today announces its participation as an Authorized License Provider in the new Microsoft license payment plan called Open License Value. With Open License Value, customers in the small and medium-sized market will have the option to spread out payments when acquiring Microsoft software. As an Authorized License Provider, SYNNEX will manage licensing transactions and multiyear billing for customers working with the Software Advisors (Value Added Reseller/Value Added Providers) that remain the customer contact point for all services and now receive influencer revenue for the sale.

The Open License Value plan enables customers to standardize their license payments and lower costs, as well as to work with their local Software Advisors on the benefits of Microsoft technology solutions. SYNNEX will work through an established channel of Software Advisors to manage customer billing and financial transactions. With many years of experience in providing this type of service, SYNNEX has the infrastructure and tools in place to assist Software Advisors in the transition to this new model, and has already trained approximately 500 influencers.
