FREMONT, CA — July 23, 2003 — SYNNEX Information Technologies, Inc., a global information technology (IT) supply chain services company, recently signed a new partnership agreement with eCommerce Industries Inc. (ECI²), a leading provider of e-commerce and business system software for office products, IT consumables, and other adjacent industries. The agreement will allow SYNNEX to serve independent dealer customers in the supplies and accessories market through ECI² IT solutions, which include a new Internet-based private supply network (PSN) service. The new PSN service enables fast, reliable Internet transactions, using compatible business system software from ECI² subsidiary Distribution Data Management Systems, Inc. (DDMS).

The relationship introduces SYNNEX as the first IT hardware distributor associated with ECI² offerings. In the supplies and accessories marketplace, SYNNEX serves an independent dealer community comprised of VARs, Office Products Dealers, and Computer Supply Specialists. This added offering provides the dealers an additional option for supplies, hardware and accessories, allowing them the convenience and efficiency from one comprehensive supplies source.
