FREMONT, CA — October 27, 2003— SYNNEX Information Technologies, Inc., a global information technology (IT) supply chain services company, has entered into an agreement with IBM to distribute their line of midrange storage products.
SYNNEX will distribute IBM's family of Linear Tape Open (LTO) products, including auto-loaders and libraries; FAStT arrays; and Storage Area Network (SAN) solutions. The IBM Ultrium Tape Autoloader is Ultrium tape technology with auto loading capabilities for backup, restore and archival solutions. The Ultrium tape library is a high-capacity, high-performance backup and archival solution. FAStT arrays are IBM’s scalable, high-performance storage solutions. The products will be sold as part of IBM's closed sourcing model, under which solution providers must select one distributor for procurement.

As part of the launch, SYNNEX will work with resellers on developing customized marketing plans to support promotion of the midrange storage products line.
