Maxtor and SYNNEX Sign Distribution Agreement

 
Agreement Creates New Marketing and Distribution Opportunities
Throughout the U.S. and Canada for Maxtor’s Family of Award-Winning

MILPITAS, CA and FREMONT, CA – March 24, 2004 – Maxtor Corporation (NYSE: MXO), a worldwide leader in hard disk drives and consumer storage products, and SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a global IT supply chain services company, announced today that they have entered into a distribution agreement whereby SYNNEX will market and sell Maxtor’s full line of award-winning DiamondMax®, MaXLine™ and Atlas® drives, and Maxtor OneTouch™ external drives. SYNNEX will distribute Maxtor’s products to a broad base of value-added resellers, system integrators and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) throughout the United States and Canada.
