Launches NexConcepts Division of Business and Consumer Technology
Products
FREMONT, CA — August
18, 2004 -- SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a global IT supply
chain services company, announced today the launch of a new
product division that will distribute and market a line of
business and consumer technology products, branded as NexConcepts™.
These products will be distributed and marketed to value-added
resellers, direct marketers and retail organizations.
NexConcepts will first introduce a selection of NoteTaker branded
products, beginning with the Mobile NoteTaker, which is a wireless
handwriting capture device. The Mobile NoteTaker attaches to
a pad or a single sheet of paper and allows users to capture,
organize and share handwritten notes, drawings and sketches
using any type of paper and a digital pen. By connecting the
Mobile NoteTaker to a USB port on a PC or a notebook, the stored
data can be uploaded and synchronized. Mobile NoteTaker will
be available for distribution this month.
Executives heading up the NexConcepts division include Mike
Del Vecchio, Sr. Vice President of OEM Marketing Services,
and Kirk Matsuo, Associate Vice President of Marketing, OEM
Marketing Services. Del Vecchio stated, “I’m thrilled
