SYNNEX Corporation Announces Two Executive Level Appointments

FREMONT, CA – March 15, 2007 – SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a global IT supply chain services company, announced today two executive level appointments. Pradip Madan has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Development and Christopher Caldwell has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Global Business Development. Both of these newly created positions support the company’s core strategy and growth initiatives and both positions will report directly into Robert T. Huang, President and Chief Executive Officer of SYNNEX Corporation.

In his new position, Pradip Madan is primarily responsible for corporate strategy and development within North America. He will work directly with the company’s business leaders on new vendor acquisitions and continue the growth diversification of the SYNNEX business model by identifying, creating and implementing value-add opportunities. With over 20 years of experience in President and Vice President roles, and direct experience with mergers, acquisitions and post-merger integration, Madan brings a track record of strong leadership and global operational experience to this role. Having led the definition, implementation and launch of over 300 hardware and software products globally throughout his career, serving the small-to-medium-business (SMB), mid-market as well as enterprise segments, he has a deep understanding of end-user needs and partner strategies for successful go-to-market execution. Most recently, Madan was President of Microland Limited, an approximately 1,600-person IT infrastructure management and technical support services company where SYNNEX has a strategic investment. Earlier, he was the founding Chief Executive Officer of Rivio, a company that built SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) applications for SMBs. He also served as Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Adaptec.

“Pradip’s broad operational background will be beneficial to SYNNEX as we continue to diversify our business model and create new market opportunities for our customers,” commented Robert T. Huang, “He brings solid experience and strategic insight to the company, and we’re delighted to have him on board.”

In his new role as Senior Vice President, Global Business Development, Christopher Caldwell is responsible for cultivating and increasing the company’s growing business in Asia. Caldwell is responsible for the oversight of both Concentrix and Link2Support as the company continues to expand its contact center strategy. With approximately 15 years of senior management experience, a comprehensive industry knowledge base and an extensive background in diverse geographies, Caldwell is ideally suited for this role. He joined SYNNEX in 2004 as Vice President, Emerging Business, from the EMJ Data Systems, Ltd. purchase in Canada, and has been instrumental in assisting SYNNEX in its build-out of value-add services and business model diversification.

“Chris demonstrated strong leadership and operational execution throughout our merger with EMJ. He continues to take on additional responsibilities and recently his role expanded to include our business development efforts in Asia Pacific,” stated Robert T. Huang. “Chris’ extensive experience leading and working with international businesses, coupled with his deep understanding of US-based companies, make him the ideal leader to take our Asia Pacific strategy to the next level of performance.”
