ZoneDirector™ 1000
The Ruckus ZoneDirector 1000 is the first centrally-managed multimedia Wireless LAN (WLAN) solution controller developed specifically for small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) and hot zone operators. With the Ruckus ZoneFlex family of multimedia Wi-Fi access points, the ZoneDirector 1000 provides a complete, secure, robust and easily expandable WLAN solution at a low total cost of ownership. Designed for simplicity and ease of use in mind, the Ruckus ZoneDirector 1000 can be deployed and operated by nonwireless experts and installed quickly and easily. Any small organization with limited IT staff and budget can create an industrial-strength, secure multimedia WLAN in a matter of minutes.
The ZoneDirector 1000 is available with a capacity for six, 12, 25 and 50 access points, with license upgrades should a business start small and grow.
ZoneDirector 3000
Capable of managing up to 250 ZoneFlex 802.11g and 80211n Smart Wi-Fi access points from a central point, the Ruckus ZoneDirector 3000 is designed for simplicity and ease of use. Unlike conventional wireless LAN systems that are costly, complex and cumbersome to deploy, the ZoneDirector 3000 is ideal for any enterprise that requires a high-performance wireless LAN that can be easily deployed and managed. The ZoneDirector 3000 integrates advanced features such as intelligent beam steering, smart wireless meshing and dynamic Wi-Fi security not found in any other WLAN system.
The ZoneDirector 3000 is available with a capacity for 25, 50, 100 and 250 access points, with license upgrades should a business start at one capacity and opt to grow.
ZoneDirector Mobility Module
The Ruckus Mobility module delivers faster and more secure Wi-Fi roaming for voice over IP as well as data applications. A simple software license for the Ruckus ZoneOS (version 7.0 and higher), the Ruckus Mobility module adds key capabilities to the Ruckus ZoneFlex line of Smart Wireless LANs such as wireless LAN tunneling for VoIP over Wi-Fi applications and 802.1x fast roaming. Voice devices like Wi-Fi phones and PDAs are extremely sensitive to delay and jitter. When these VoIP clients roam between buildings and floors they can experience disruptions and dropped calls. Meanwhile standard PC clients may experience slower data transfers and Web browsing may be disrupted while roaming. The Ruckus Mobility module minimizes this erratic Wi-Fi behavior by enabling undisrupted voice calls through the use of advanced Layer 3 tunneling and data transmission using key caching techniques when roaming across ZoneFlex 802.11g/n access points.
ZoneFlex 2942 802.11g Wireless Access Point
The Ruckus ZoneFlex 2942 is the first centrally managed, multimedia 802.11g Wi-Fi access point that delivers industrial-strength features and functionality not available in any low-end consumer AP or high-end WLAN system. Ideal for hotels, schools, airports and small-to-medium businesses SMBs with little or no IT staff and a limited budget, the Ruckus ZoneFlex 2942 is also perfect for hot spot operators that want to deliver business class hot spot services - such as voice over Wi-Fi, IP-based video or secure enterprise access. The ZoneFlex 2942 implements Ruckus patented BeamFlex smart antenna technology that enables consistent, high performance, extended coverage and multimedia support as it automatically tunes itself to adapt to constant changes in the environment.

The Ruckus ZoneFlex 2942-OT is the first centrally-managed, outdoor 802.11g Wi-Fi access point (AP) that delivers advanced features and functionality not available in any low-end consumer AP or high-end WLAN system.Deployed individually, or as a system combined with indoor ZoneFlex 2942 and centrally managed by the Ruckus ZoneDirector™ Smart WLAN family of controllers, the Ruckus ZoneFlex 2942-OT can extend Wi-Fi coverage into hard-to reach outdoor areas. It is ideal for hotels and resorts providing Wi-Fi coverage around an outdoor pool area, schools and stadiums covering outdoor sports facilities, and general enterprises covering shipping docks and other outdoor areas.

The Ruckus ZoneFlex 2925 is the first carrier-class 802.11g access point designed for the fast changing hotspot market. The ZoneFlex 2925 is based on patent-pending Smart Wi-Fi technology that automatically adapts Wi-Fi signals to the changing environment.
